PAUC provides a forum for Academic Upgrading leaders to communicate matters related to policies, trends, and student mobility. The group of professional, adult educators focus on androgogical and pedagogical approaches to education as well as the role Upgrading plays in the Alberta post-secondary system.

 

Through collaboration with provincial programs, government bodies, and key stakeholders, PAUC plays a vital role in ensuring quality education is available to adult Upgrading students around the province. The Committee is specifically responsible for reviewing highschool equivalency cources for ACAT transferability.

This document defines the purpose and structure of PAUC which is to provide a forum for communicating matters of common concern related to and in support of the work of academic upgrading programs in Alberta.
